Hola from Santiago, Chile!

We arrived safely late last night after an exciting day waiting around in Rio de Janeiro airport for our extremely delayed plane. But we got here in good time once we'd set off so can't complain! It is 9am here so we are just getting our first glimpse of the city in daylight. Today we will be adventuring out on foot around the many architectural and cultural delights of Satiago, as well as chilling out in the many beautiful parks here. The weather is lovely, although pollution in chile is not great at this time of year so it is a little smoggy.

We will also be investigate some buses to Mendoza today that we will be taking perhaps on saturday or sunday, it is a 7 hour trip through beautiful mountain scenery so it is recommended that we do it during the daytime, we will keep you posted as to when we will be making the trip!
