Hi everyone!

Just a very quick post to say that we are safely across the Chile/argentina border to Mendoza and have checked in to our hostel (which is a really nice one compared to the last one!!) First impressions of Mendoza are really good, and the journey here across the Andes was stunning (pics to follow shortly!)

Sorry about the lack of Santiago pics on the blog. Annie and I spent aaaaaages in the internet cafe last night trying to put up lots but only a few of therm worked and after two hours we gave up! Hopefully we will be able to get the ones of the cable car etc up soon.

Things on our list of things to do here include a vineyard tour and wine taster session which we are very excited about :-) Mendoza is apparently set to overtake Chile as the wine centre of Latin America so we should be in for some good samples!
