Got up at 8, kill me now it's freezing I forgot we are in the Antarctic! It's like 15'C minimum in August.
Went to go and find something warm for breakfast, there was only toast and they gave us it to go in a box with a bag of local jam! Got the mini bus at 8.45 after Bella told us she had been banging on our door as she thought we were still asleep!
Ate the toast dipped in local strawberry jam under the no eating sign in the bus! No one cared though!
We drove for an hour, we are on this tour with about 10 other people, mostly Italian and French. We got talking to a travelling couple from Canada and Blackburn! I'm sure Hull people are supposed to hate Blackburn people in rugby or something?
They were lovely! They have been travelling for ages! They also write blogs and we havent met anyone else who does this yet!
Trekked through the rain forest for two hours until we found the carnivorous flower! I fell over as usual and nearly fell on the thing! Oops! Haha
It's called a Rafflesia! I don't know if it's pretty or ugly! It's half flower half fungi but is the biggest flower in the world. The flower buds grow in tree roots and take around 9 months to bloom. Once bloomed they live for 7 days until they die, turn black and smell like rotten mouse.
When I asked he guide how he knew it smelt like rotten mouse he said he killed one once and forgt about it in the fridge?
Trekked back half an hour to a waterfall, it was small and a bit rubbish! It's the same as all the other waterfalls, small and pointless, as if someone has just turned on a tap.
There is a miserable girl in the background to my photo today! I could have strangled her! Go away! She had a poorly tummy and the runs! It made my day watching her run through the rainforest holdin her bum. Serves her right for getting in my picture!
We then walked to a local village in the rainforest. Malay abarigional people have only been living on the outskirts of the rain forest for 6 years, before this they were scared of other people and had no contact. The government gave them houses and gave the children an education.
We got showed how the aboriginal people hunted, with a long piece of bamboo and a wooden dart covered in poison from a tree. We then got the chance to do it! This poison covered dart can kill an elephant in ten minutes. So michael better watch out!
I did it and got it on the second ring of the target not far from bulls eye! I do not mess about! I need to know where you can purchase one of these as when there is screaming children that should be in cages or pedo men it could come in useful!
Michael only just hit the cardboard the target was drawn on, if he lived in the rain forest, the elephant would have felt sorry for him and killed itself.
After everyone had a go I asked to see the abariginal guy from the village do it, he walked about 62 miles from the target and on one try got bulls eye.
I told Michael I thought this was attractive, I mean how cool is it to say your boyfriend could kill an elephant! He didn't agree though but it definitely is!
Michael's didn't even hit the target. I'm so much better then him! All he does is complain!
How do I sell Michael? In fact no one would buy him! I'll pay someone to take him away!!! Haha joking! He puts means things about me in his blog though! Debbie, you should slap him when he gets home!!
After this we walked around the village, there was a monkey in a cage and we got told its not big enough to be dinner yet so it will stay there till it is. So it's BBQ monkey next week on the menu!
While taking a photo the monkey tried to steal my phone! Keep your rabies hands away! If he had it his way he would take my iPhone and trade it for his life quicker than you can say banana!
Went for lunch at an Indian stall restaurant. I asked about a vegetable option and they gave me chicken! Actual lumps of chicken nothing subtle about it! Apparently chicken is a vegetable! So I have plain rice and a coke! Just what I wanted...
Talked to the frenchies for a bit then drove to a Malaysian Tea Plantation. This tea plantation made no tea. When I asked when it stopped he said 1935, I then found out it was only a couple of weeks ago as its not in season, yeah, 77 years and 3 weeks is the same.
Got pummelled to death by seeds being dispensed by an aeroplane, at first we thought it was the guy hanging out of the window above so I gave him a look, he laughed and pointed to the sky! Seeds can't fly moron.... Oops! I love fighting with the locals!
Walked around the tea factory that absolutely STANK of tea. Then walked to the museum part of it, it's interesting to see how it's made but to write its boring so just google it! I have to write 2849 blogs anyway so I don't have the time!
Went to the restaurant and shop part of it and me and Michael tried hand picked yea from the fields surrounding us. Hand picked tastes better then normal as you only pick the good leaves. Really, tea is tea though and earl grey wasn't on the menu!
The whole building looked like something from grand designs (not that I'm old and watch that) it was all open plan with windows for walls and all the views were just fields and mountains nothing else. Beaut!
Drove to butterfly park after this, we went to butterfly park in KL though and you had to pay 5 ringgits (£1) to get in so me and Michael stayed in the minibus! It started chucking it down! So we are glad we did!
Drove to a strawberry farm and walked around the sheltered part, everyone tried the strawberries real sneakily but afterwards we realised they probably had fertiliser on! They tasted amazing though! Forgot how much I love them!
We bought a strawberry bun from the shop just to say we had. It was warm and lovely in the cold rain! It cost 2 ringgit (40p) I think.
Got the minibus home after this! We sat with Bella and used the wifi for a bit, skyped mother who told me off for eating poison strawberries! It's an experience mother!!! Skyped Da for a while as well! I miss him so much. Makes me sad.
Skyped him in the reception, on the way to eat and even while ordering! Haha Bella took me and Michael to a place called Marry Browns, I had fish and Michael had chicken! The Starbucks boy from last night was there as well!
Got back and showered in the beaut shower I will never forget! Better then most of the showers in Asia so far and it's outside!
Met Bella again for a bit then went to sleep about 10.30.
