Got up at 9, got ready and had breakfast at Amelia's, the place we are staying. Cold scrambled egg with solid bread... Yum haha!
Walked along the white sand beach, sun bathed and snorkelled all morning, the sea wasn't as clear today as it rained all last night, yesterday it was crystal clear.
I'm really scared of standing on alive things and being stung or bitten. So basically everything in the sea scares me!
At 1 we went for lunch at Amelia's, had tuna rice and it was tuna out of a can, I didn't realise how much I missed this instead of getting a fillet of tuna and picking out the bones! Met Shima and Shaz, for a while and we arranged to meet them tonight for tea!
Went back to sunbathe at 3.30 but we didn't bring any sun cream as we are only here for a day! Looking back it sounds stupid but at the time is was logical! Currently writing this (6 days later) I look across to Michael who is peeling like a reptile! Kill us! We got burnt! We fell asleep in the sun! We also didn't bring after sun and we are on an island so it's expensive! Lobster central!
Watched the pretty sun set! This island is so beautiful! Picked up some dead coral from the beach on the way home to stick in my scrap book! Michael did the same for his poster he is going to make at home!
Met Shima and Shaz at 8, had the BBQ again as its good but takes ages! There is some talent in these island boys!!! Had local fish again but I always forget the names of the fish I have! It began with some random letter of the alphabet...
Got invited to a bar at the end of the beach as its ladies night! I am a lady so I must attend! It was very quiet though! The while beach was quiet! After a few drinks we walked back to the restaurant we had milo at last night and they had shut as well!
Me and Michael realised that neither of us had the key. Crap. We have never done this before but they charge you obscene amounts if you loose the key! Ran back to Amelia's and bluffed it that we had left it in the room, they gave us a spare and we actually had left it in the room! Hallelujah!
Went back to sit with Shaz and Shima, there are bats here the length of my arm and they scare me! What if they bite me and I become a vampire! There are insect eating bats and fruit eating bats!
We have stayed at Coral Bay which is one side of the island, the other side is called Long Beach. A guy came and told us that everything closes early on Coral Bay as everyone moves to Long
Beach! You have to walked 10 minutes through the Rain Forest to get there though! No thanks!!
The girls told us we could use there wifi in the lobby of there hotel! The password was 'paradise' and I couldn't have put it better myself! Havnt had wifi again for 2 days! I know this sounds really bad but I don't care!
After saying goodbye to Shima and Shaz we walked back along the beach via a guy singing happy birthday to me even though it's not my birthday. Maybe its the only song he knows! Got back about 1.30! This is mega early for on an island! It's usually about 7am haha! We are up at 7am though as we have to catch a boat!
