Got up and Michael didn't feel very well so waited with him till he felt better. He does milk situations though! Drama queen! Haha I'm such a good friend!!
Went to Bamboo Hut Cafe down Poppies 2 and had sweet and sour fish with rice. Love Indonesian food already and haven't even been here a day!
Walked to the sim card stall, after much deliberation I decided they were ripping us off and we should check about the price they are offering! I was right, we paid 3000 rupiahs (0.20p) for half an hour at the Internet cafe to check.
We definitely had to get sim cards though as we hadn't spoken to anyone so no one knew I was alive!! I reckon Debbie would be sending the helicopters soon enough as well! Haha!
Got sim cards from another stall after negotiating the price! We paid 30000 (£2) to get it installed, registered and a little bit of credit. Michael's phone didn't respond to it for ages and he got very stressed! He is usually relaxed....
We decided not to get a top up and see how long the Internet would last on the little credit we had! Got 3G and it is pure heaven!
They have loads of bumped stickers here for sale, examples include a lady boy stole my purse, I f*** tourists, no fat chicks, high 5 for herpies, Jesus loves me but everyone else thinks I'm a c***, big banana, dance like your vagina on fire, Darren is gay, Barbie is a slut etc etc. 5 for £3 isn't bad though! Haha
Chilled for a bit until we walked to the beach at 4, it's so full of Australians here!! Sat and watching the sun set while 249.6 woman tried to sell us bracelets! Michael persuaded me to get some so we shared 5 which came to 30000 (£2).
The beach here is beautiful, it's not what I expected though! I expected beach hut accommodation, white sand beaches and calm water with not many tourists. There are no huts on the beach, the water has the highest waves I have ever seen constantly every day and it's absolutely packed with tourists and people selling things! What am I going to do with a machine bow and arrow on the beach?
Walked home, Michael cut his own hair in the bathroom then trimmed my eyebrows! Kill me I didn't want him to do it but he insisted! I now look like I have English eyebrows instead of Spanish! I'm going to kill this boy!
Got ready and went out about 9, got a drink at a random bar, it played the film Transporter and I never thought Michael would be into car films! It was boring! Got a mixmax which is like a WKD. I hate to admit it but it was nice, even if they are made for 13 year olds drinking in the street! Ha
Got a taxi to Seminyak which cost 40000 (£2.80) where there is a street full of gay bars! Sounds like my kind of street! The main ones are called Mixwell, Bali Joe, Bottoms Up, Facebar and Bird Cage which is changing us name to Dix... How appropriate.
Went to Mixwell, it's very full on, it's very touchy feely and everyone stares at you but I guess at the end of the week when I know everyone I'll be the one staring at the new people.
There is shows about every half an hour, lady boy shows, go go boy shows and tribute lady boy shows! It's insane! Some of them are so real, I thought it was Rihanna on stage! Walked next door to Bali Joe, it's pretty much the same in there just different acts! Liked Bali Joe better though and there are prettier people in here! Drank rose wine as its the cheapest at 50000 (£3) for a big glass.
Done! Sold! Next! Drank wine all night! I hate wine and beer but it's all we drink in Asia so maybe I'll turn into an expert.
Everywhere closed at 2 which is ridiculous! Left at 2.30 and Andi gave us a lift home on his motorbike all the way to Poppies 2! Got home at about 3.30. I had to fight off a cockroach that decided to set up camp in our room! Seriously hate them!
