Got up at 10 to get ready and check out!

We had a problem with our cards and neither of them would let us draw money out so we were running around like brainless chickens! Finally managed it having to treck 5 miles in the boiling hot sun! Told our receptionist we couldn't pay for a joke and you should have seen the look in her face!! Hilarious! Haha

The receptionist added us on Facebook then told us if we didn't like the Guest House in Phnom Penh we didn't have to say there! This makes us feel very confident! Not!

Checked out at 12 as our bus was supposed to pick us up then, it didn't turn up till half past! Typical Cambodian time! Beginning to think its Asia time!

The main coach set off an hour late! It was freezing! Forget Asia more like Antarctic!! Where are my thermals!

I made friends with a 8 year old Khmer girl that didn't speak a word of english and for the rest of the 7 hour coach ride I played naughts and crosses, drawing, scrap book reading, hairdressers, clapping games, pulling funny faces, tickles and all sorts! Michael loved sitting next to me on this coach ;)
She was adorable she sat behind us and when a film came on she hugged me over the seat for ages! I could cry!

Stopped twice on the way! They sell some weird things in road side stall stop offs! 'wanna try snake, crocodile or insect sandwiches'

Roads here are tarmacced on the main ones, in Siem Reap all main roads were rubble so it was difficult but here everywhere has smooth roads!

Got to Phnom Penh at 8.30 instead of 6! A tuktuk from our recommended guest house picked us up and gave us a lift for free! The place is called The King. Oh my! We felt like we had to stay in here for one night as they had given us a lift from the bus station! The receptionist at Tom and Jerry was right!

It was horrible! More like a nature reserve then a guest house! You name it, it lived there!

Went for a walk after we checked in to see if we could see any nice places to eat and there is nothing! Ate in the hostel and they got out order completely wrong! You should have seen Michael's face!

I read in my lonely planet travel book that you shouldn't take a bag out with you and there is a good chance you will get robbed here! Fantastic!
