Moved up to Perth in anticipation of our trip to Adelaide the following day. Met up with angie (ex LU) and had an enjoyable mini tour of Perth's waterign holes. The beer garden of 'Brisbane' was the highlight as it was a superb location for watching all the beautiful people trying very hard to be their coolest. We are lightweights these days so had to duck out after a poor showing of 5 hours. Found a good local vietnamese which bizarrely had George and Wildred on TV (featuring a guest appearance of Ethel from EastEnders as Mildred's mum). Alas the volume was very low so most of the 70s quipiccisms were lost on us.
