We had our first bike ride today through Tuscany. It was a very hot day for a very beautiful and challenging ride. We cycled from Arezzo up north through the birth place of Michalangelo. Then we descended a bit of a bumpy road through some small villages Bibbina and Calbenzado. And many more towns I can't easily spell! We will have to post pictures later the scenery was amazing. The ride took me a bit longer than expected with the hot Tuscan sun. Poor Chiara had to wait at our 1000m summit near Chiusi Della Verna. We both made it.... 10 hour ride in total for the 130km ride. Wasn't expecting that! Tomorrow we will relax in the sun and hopefully go to an agriturismo.
