Here in Moscow, Russia, the sun shines over the gorgeous city. Today was a busy day of touring, but it was fun! First, I toured the Tretyakov Gallery, an art museum. Established in 1856, the Tretyakov Gallery consists of Russian art. Many beautiful paintings, such as Morning in a Pine Forest, are held here. After a breakfast of Pelmeny (small ball of minced meat inside of a pastery), I set of to the Kremlin Armory, a museum that was once a castle for royalty in 1508. Full of royal wear and such, the Kremlin Armory is an unbelievable historic museum. The things that interested me most was the fur-lined crowns; gold and encrusted with gems and jewels. Once done enjoy the royal apparel and their belongings, I visited the Bolshoi Theatre. This theater put on the very first performance of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. I was able to catch a matinee of Swan Lake, which I have never seen before; it was incredible! I had a lovely lunch at a Russian restaurant, except that all the workers there only spoke Russian so I had to pull out Google Translate on my phone (бесплатный Wi-Fi! Also know as free wifi!) After lunch I visited Saint Basil's Cathedral. It was beautiful! The chocolate kiss shaped buildings on top of the towers are just like I imagined them, amazing! My last event was the Galereya Ledovoy Skulʹptury(Ice Sculpture Gallery). Hundreds of ice sculptures are held in this refrigerated building. Scenes of Saint Basil's Cathedral made of ice are here. It is incredible! Now I relax in my 5 star rated hotel! Goodbye for now!
