Annabelle's Trek Across Europe
This city is incredible! My day in Skopje, Macedonia was awesome! To start the day, I visited the City Museum of Skopje. This museum is distributed into four sections, archeology, art, history, and ethnology. I spent the most time in the art section because of my love of art, but I've heard that all the sections are great. After a lunch of a simple salad, I went to the Skopje Aqueduct. The Skopje Aqueduct is an archeological site in the village of Vizbegovo, Skopje. It is absolutely beautiful! I walked around the 1, 622 foot long wall for a bit. It turns out that the Skopje Aqueduct carried water from the spring Lavovec to the city of Skopje in the eighteenth century. Amazing isnt it? As I walking to the Millenium Cross I became really sick. I must of had food poisening from my lunch. So I went back to my apartment in Skopje. Unfortunatly I spent the rest of the day and night in my hotel, asleep. Hopefuly I'll be better soon so I can tour the rest of Skopje!
