your trip sounds absolutely amazing, really cant wait to see the photos. Its been really hot here last few days and it takes me all my time just to get up and dressed without overheating so god knows what trekking through the harsh jungle in the heat you are experiencing must be like! Well done to both of you, also for managing to use the 'toilets'! Had a similar although im sure much clenlier experience in Italy, just a porcelain hole in the floor and some handles to hold you above it!! Will try and come on here regularly and check up on you guys. time must be flying as you sound like you are having so much fun. take care and will see you when you get back!

Sky 'spent the night with' JP. Then proceeded to tell Susan and Mishka about it, (it's completely natural to share such things with a neighbour and your grandfather's friend's girlfriend). So Dil painted over Sky's designs on his car (he's also now working at the Scarlet Bar as a chef). Harsh. KenNEDdey have played a couple of gigs in the Scarlet bar, but apparently all the girls are going for Karl, and Conner and his flute aren't impressed. Paul has given the General Store backto Lou, Lou paid a friend to do a fake building inspection of the Store, so Paul thought that loads of money needed to be spent to fix it. But it was all lies so Paul gave the store back to Lou because he thought it was all a liability. Mishka smokes and the whole script surrounding various characters is so hilarious it sounds like something straight out of an anti-smoking advert; eg. Max 'Mishka you can't smoke anywhere near where food is prepared'. She has managed to cut down to 2 packets per day though. Evil Cam and Katya have got together, he tried to push her off a cliff, then changed his mind at the last minute and saved her. Suse told Katya to go for it with Cam because he's such a great guy, oh Suse- what's happened? You used to be such a good judge of character. Something is away to happen with Izzy, Cam is possibly going to do something. You have picked a good Neighbours time to go away, the evil twin storyline is very annoying.

Sounds like you're having a fab time. The long sweaty bus rides are all part of the fun, as is being able to afford to hire a taxi for days at a time. I felt the same about the money I spent on meals, but you have to look at it as you have saved the money to be there, and I doubt the people there would resent you for it.

Alright you 2, hope your having a brill time travelling, v. jealous. Not much happening back in the deen. T in the park was brill, know u would have loved it andy. Ramsay street update.....Sky cheated on Dillon with JP, and pauls son is trying 2 kill izzy, he was the 1 who planted the bomb on the plane. Hope that keeps your thirst 4 neighbours knowledge on the go 4 now.

I'm laughing cos I'm the same as Lilian- on twice a day checking for updates- which are really good I have to say, better than reading a book.
Why did the folk in the floating village keep crocs in pens...were they for eating maybe...I know they eat alligators...
I notice the photo that accompanies the last update.I must have been drunk when I posed for that!
Will you get the chance to see any orangutang? I would love to do that.See them if you can as they're headed for extinction poor things.
Looking forward to the spring rolls if they got 10 and 11 out of ten.
We've got high expectations for a meal cooked by you both on your return.

Was sorry i missed your call on Sat we had only popped out for a couple of hours, we had to pick up liz 's graduation photos, and yes they are good. Hope you are both still having the trip of a lifetime. We made back from our holidays, and I am back at work today, it feels like I have never been away. Never mind at least the sun is still shining.
I spoke to Grandma on Saturday and she is having a good time......think Una drives her mad some days but she is still enjoying it, she was saying that it is far too hot for there. Both she and Una are asking for you!!
Not much has been going on in Aberdeen at the moment.
Well I suppose I had better go and do some work.

Hi you two! Sounds like you are having an interesting time. The toilets sound manginally better than the ones in most Aberdeen pubs...... at least there WAS a way to flush!! Don't worry if the cooking doesn't work out well, I've got a great recipe for Thai green curry I can give you (he he).

Catriona has survived her party at her new house, saw her at your Mum & Dad's tonight when we dropped Granma and Grandad off for a BBQ. Saw Mike's photo's of Perth and decided we really must go there - not as exciting as your trip but more that exciting enough for us oldies. Weather here is surprisingly great, it's still warm at 10.30pm after another lovely day, it surely can't last.

Neighbours update: Heather in no 25 had a baby girl last week, Barney the dog at no 8 passed away, he was a 15 year old cocker spaniel so he'd had a good innings, Breda and Steve at no 17 are in Ireland for a birthday party........ oh sorry, it's not our neighbours you want an update on!!!!

We've had some sunny weather so people have been happier than usual! Went to Edin yesterday for Eliza's hen night + got the wedding in 3 weeks.

Can't believe how fast your time away is going . It feels like you went away last week!

Hello there. Yes, I had a wee party last night in the flat and everyone loved the padded blue toilet seat!. Mum thinks I should keep it for a laugh, but I fear it will be getting the heave fairly shortly, although it is quite comfy....looking forward to hours of diy fun!

Wee since Jennifer is being a bit neglectful with keeping up her Neighbours updates, Ill have to try and recount the "key" stories from the episodes i've seen this week.

Janae knows that Bree is not Janele and Kim's and wants them to tell Bree, but they keep putting it off, much to Janae's annoyance.

Excruciatingly embarassing this week was Dr Karl and Ned's "jamming" session in the Scarlet Bar on open mike night. You could tell Alan Fletcher was taking it seriously and it was really awful.

Connor "PI" has been trailing evil Cam for Dil' as Dil suspects he was behind the shelf collapsing incident in the coffee shop. Connor reports to Dil' that Cam didn't do anything sus' apart from nipping across town (probably to Eden Hills) to the hospital. Connor didn't know what he was doing in the hospital but suggested he was visiting a patient. Is Dil' close to discovering Cam's dirty secret....

Lou has hooked up with a lady he met on the internet called mishka, yes you've guessed it, she ees a russian and speeeeks lik dis, it ees all very good yes? and Im beginning to wonder if neighbours can stoop any lower.

Sky and the wonderful JP are falling for each other, I think even more so because he took her to a gallery opening where his "piece" was being exhibited and was an (awful) portrait of her. It must be love.

Next time you use those big pans it'll be for making a thai green curry will it Andrew? Will it be better than Marino's? His mum died and he was in Argentina , but is back here and going on hol with the rest of the family today.
Catriona's the proud new owner of a mortgage and has the keys to her wee flat, so Dad and I are going round to help her get ready for her 70's party. She was keeping Granda company last night when we went with granma to the banchory treasure hunt, and he wrote her a list of things she'd need, like "Set of pans (4?)".
The mannie is coming from the Antiques Roadshow today to "view the piece" as he calls it, so Harry or dad would have to decide who was doing the spiel- Harry would need to go to the dentist first! You never know,dad might be on the telly again. Remember the last time, he was speaking about the state of the loos at St Joseph's! I've never reached those giddy heights.
Isla's boyfriend goes home tomorrow after his holiday with us.
Havin a BBQ tomorrow if it's still fine and dad's invited Mike, who's back from Australia for 2 weeks, so we'll hear his news.
Went to see wee David next door in Dracula Spectacula- he was funny but he was giving 110%.One of the vampires looked very like one of my district nurses,amazingly.

Hello you guys, sounds like you are having a fabby time!!!!!!!!!! I am writing this email while waiting for the taxi to come and take us back to the airport... :( Had a great time and we have all gone a nice brown....although the sun is not shinning today...which is fine by me!!! Eating a lot over the last week, bought a lot of shoes and bags...it just has to be done!!
Sounds like you have both been very brave over the last couple of days. We have been doing a wee jungle treck of our on.....was sooo funny your auntie got stuck in a rope tunnel....thought she was going to have to gnaw her self free......was very funny, we also have some photos for you to see.
Well better go because taxi is about to come.
Hope the cooking classes are going well and looking forward to being cooked a meal by you!!
