What a brilliant update and very funny. I can just picture the sights- Andrew , dripping,with a big bubbly head waiting for water, Liz shrieking at reptiles in the shower as folk peer in from the hill,and squishing frogs underfoot (remember my episode in the dining room Andrew, with a frog .Yuk,I can feel it yet!)
It sounds ace fun, the diving. Do you sign yourselves LLB(Hons) PADI in future? Dad was no good at the scuba diving in Florida remember Andrew, his beard meant there wasn't a proper seal for the mask and it was constantly filling up with water! I really hope the sharks are friendly tomorrow- do you get such things? If there are no more updates, we'll guess what's happened.....can I bags your MP3 Player? Beware of the giant squid as well.
Mum and dad are kept up to date - they get printouts of everything and are always very interested in your adventures.
With the Antiques Roadshow, the Aberdeen episode will be on late Autumn. I think dad and harry's bit should be shown, with us hovering in the background, as folk do on the programme.Unfortunately, there are no gasps and "You're joking!"when the expert tells them the values, and we have both returned to work.We've not become millionaires.

Hello there! I wish I was on turtle island, sounds ace. I really love the sound of the crystal waters, white sand and palm trees. Sounds lovely.....just like the birthday cake grandma baked you Andrew!

Liz -I would react exactly the same if a lizard joined me in the shower. Don't be mean Andrew-girls do not like beasties of any sort and beasties are NOT a joking matter!!!

Re Neighbours: Jennifer is still being a bit neglectful with her updates and I have not seen many episodes recently, but from those I have seen, these are the key stories: Suz has banned Stinger and Rachel from "being together" as Stinger was done by the police for drink driving and is a whole 3 years older than her. They are both v upset so que much crying/frustration etc etc.

Bree has decided not to search for her real parents as it would upset Janelle and Kim too much, which is good as it would probably be quite a boring storyline. Lyn is developing a bit of a crush on Paul and the evil Cam has gone to seek revenge on Katyas ex. He was mean to katya so Cam has to pay him back for hurting Katya. Exciting stuff eh?

All the best with the dive tomorrow. I really hope that sharks ARE scared or bubbles....

Now, I'm just going to go the fridge, I think there is an infamous bottle of beer in there belonging to Rod...?! Im pretty thirsy so.....Take care you two x

well about time I was getting withdrawl symptoms from lack of journal to read. The grandparents have read your journal as I printed it off and took it down to them at the weekend, they send their love to both of you. Liz - have done everything that you asked on your journal update. No need to ask if you are enjoying yourselves on this island, it sounds wonderful. Back here right now it is like winter. It is raining, howling a gale and cold - whats new eh? I'm using your car while mine is in for its mot so it is getting an outing. Are you going to trade it in for a scooter when you come home???? Cammy is signing for Albion (long story) but is going to Ireland with Aberdeen for a week. Val and Ian are going too, Scottie staying because of exam comittments. Really enjoying reading your messages. It sounds like you are having a fantastic time.....not at all jealous!!
We went up to Lossiemouth for the weekend and had a great time. It is Mike's birthday on Thursday so we went up to see his dad because he leaves to go offshore. I am meeting mum tonight to get his present, I am getting him a bike....a lovely pink one with a basket..ha ha!! The sunny weather has now left Aberdeen, hopefully it will come back for the weekend. Grandma gets home tomorrow afternoon so will go out and see her and tell her all about your adventure. Hope you enjoy your diving and that there are not hungry sharks going about.......don't think you would fill them up though!!

Hey hope yous are having a great time, from the looks of your updates its very eventful. Not much happening here apart from the usual although by the time you get back i will have entered the world of full time work with the Stewart Milne Group. Not really looking forward to the prospect of no more midweek nights out but i can at least start living for the weekend. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

P.S. Incase you didn't know Aberdeen drew their first game of the season 1-1 with Hibs. I realise you are on on the other side of the world but i know this will have been pressing on Andy's mind

How are u and Andy i hope use are having a really good time and injoying all the good experiance use have done on ur hoilday. well i have'nt been up to much just been working loads am no longer working in Priory now. I have handed in my notice at mikes as am wanting a full time job. I did apply for a full time job at Coopers Bar but they phoned me on friday and said they have gave it to some one else so not inpressed. Well i really hope u and Andy injoy the rest of your hoilday ok hope its nice weather.

Time's going fast but you've still half the holiday to go.
Wonder how the scuba diving's going? You'll be seeing another world you didn't know existed. Hope there's no big, nasty things in the water.Remember to count all limbs and digits when you get out,just in case.
Weather here continues lovely- it's amazing . Dad down at C's flat taking out the old kitchen, but I've said not to be too long or Isla'll feel deprived of a walk from us.
I'm sitting writing this with frozen mixed veg between me and the seat (no Peas) as I've tweaked my back.Apart from that, all well at home, even old bones-in-a-bag Charlie.

Just been out to visit Millie. She has grown so much as you will see from the photo we sent you. we get her home in two weeks. Well hello you two! Cambodia sounds like it has been most interesting, and you have had an overall good experience there. Have a safe journey back to BanKok and I hope turtle island is good, sounds good, i'm picturing white sand, coral reefs,turquoise water...... and hopefully no sharks! Sandy,Harry,mum, me and dad are just back from a day at the Antiques Roadshow at the Music Hall.It was roasting but really good. A bit different, and fun. All the best known "experts "were there, and queues of folks with their poly bags and boxes. It was really handy being able to sail past the queues with our passes, because we had items being shown. Ken and Harry's appointment was 2pm (had a lovely lunch in the sun at the Globe in the Beer Garden) but they weren't taken till 4pm.It was quite fun seeing them get on make up then be miked up. Sandy,mum and I formed the "listeners"... you know, the ones who hover in the background. So here's hoping they make it on to the show in the Autumn.
