hello all

wellwe have finally made it here after a long flight next to 2 small babies. Finding the hostel was relativly easy....or sowe thought...somehow we managed to check in to the wrong hostel.wellin fact we were not even in a hostel.basically we were cheated and ended up sleeping the first night in an absolute s*** hole the size of a doublebed and that included the bath room.the bed was so hard we couldnot sleep.the following day we decided that we would look around as the accomodation just did not feel right and low and behold...we found the hostelwe shoouldhave booked into.we went and had a chat to them and realised that yes we had been conned.After a small arguement we managed to get our money back and book into the right hostel.This was loads better although the bed is still really hard.

since being here we have done loads of sightseeing.we have been across to hong kong island, seen the skyline view from victoria peak, done a walking tour or the city, visited the zoo and botanical gardens, witnessed bamboo scaffolding on 40 story buildings,visited the 10.000 budda temple, which required walking up 400 steps, we saw the night lazor show on the skyline buildings. Tonight we went to the night market and had a nice meal from a market stall.

we are both jetlagged and have major aching feet and calfs. So far only had 2 cockroach experiences the first one was dead and well...so is the second one.
