Well we have arrived safe and sound in singapore. When we left china it was -5 and when we landed here it was 28degrees so it was a big shock. Yesterday it was really hot, but today it has been raining but still hot.
we have been busy sightseeing and have been to sentosa island via the cable car which routes over to mount faber as well. whilst on sentosa we went to the underwater world a got to play with the fish, we have some pictures of us both touching the sharks and rays but havent got them on the internet yet- have to say thoughts of steve erwin were running through our minds but they were lovely and andy wanted to take a bamboo shark home. from there we went to the dolphin lagoon and caught the tail end of the show. we also went on the night safari, where possibly due to the darkness obscuring a host of security devises, we felt like there was nothing but a few feet between us and all sorts of wild animals- lions tigers giraffs and the usual suspects. and at singapore zoo we saw loads but the highlight was the 2 polar bears, at first looking a bit hot and bored (though still very cute) had play and feeding time and looked lovely (and aparently they experience 35 degrees c in the sumer anyway). we also done a jungle walk where we both got bitten by ants and finaly around singapore itself. so we have been very busy. Lisa has a cold and cough but apart from that everything is fine. oh and Andy has been eaten alive by mozzy's even with the spray on.
Were off to Borneo tomorrow and are really looking forward to it.
Take care all
Love Lisa and Andy
