The first half of our day in Philadelphia was spent driving down there from New York. The drive was relatively short and when we stopped we got to eat at Reading Terminal Market. They had really good ribs and a candy store where I bought some sweets for my brothers when I got home. After that we went to go see the Love Monument and Fountain and then headed down to Independence Hall. On the way there we stopped ans took pictures of The Liberty Bell though a window. At Indepedence Hall we got to take a tour of the rooms. It was really cool to see the actual rooms from all of the pictures featuring the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. We got done with the tour early and went shopping at a mall for souvenirs. After that we had supper at Potbelly Sandwich shop. They had some really good sandwiches which were really authentic and unique. Definitely a place I will remember eating at. After supper we got on the bus and started the drive to Washington D.C. . We did not do much today except drive, but it was still a fun city, just not the most life changing compared to the rest of the cities I had been to so far.
