Andy and Cate Around the World in 80 Days
Well today was an action packed day en route to Cairnes. The long drive was nicely broken up by lots of stops. We stopped at couple of nice look out points, one of which was Millaa Millaa Waterfall which as the name suggess, a waterfall, if you've seen one and all that... We also stopped off at a crocodile farm which was much more exciting. Cate kissed a baby aligator. We also played with a few Kangaroos and stuff. saw some big big crocs, and emus and all kinds of crazy stuff including snakes.
After that we headed up the coast and just outside Cairns we stopped off at a Bungy site. Having a severe dislike to heights and an even greater dislike of edges I decided that Cate and I would throw ourselves off a 50m high edge with an elastic band wrapped around our legs. We did a tandem jump as neither Cate nor I wanted to do it alone! Bloody hell it was scary but i suspect not as scary as finals!
We did it, it was awesome and I didn't have to change underware afterwards so all was good. We got it on DVD so we'll be able to show anyone who cares!
We eventually arrived in Cairns and checked into ou hostle and then hit the town for a last knees-up with our Oz bus lot. We had loads of fun, got a young french lad very drunk (he did it pretty much on his iwn to be fair) much to the dismay of his older sister and then stumbled back at the wee hours of the morning.
