Sailed with Reiner who is really keen and wants to sail with me full time, suggested he speak to Hamish as he's his crew. Good thing is he's strong at pulling boat the very short distance up ramp! I t was very shifty winds with big gusts and despite Reiner forgetting to uncleat jib a couple of times managed to stay upright, got a couple of thirds and a second but not many boats out.... 5 for first race, 4 second and then only three for last! Really, really missed YOU. LOts and lots of love Ann x

Yesterday was sunny and bright, I spent time in the garden with Pebble. Today is dull with drizzle, and so I decided to cook myself a pudding for lunch. It is now finished. May I tell you the ingredient is obtained from the fleshy root of a cassaver plant which grows in hot and humid climates, notably in Malaysia. You are not the only one enjoying exotic food. Mine is called TAPIOCA. Love it. As a child we always ate milk puddings. Blancmange, Barley pudding Semolina. I have bought myself a new Duvet set in shiny greens which look so subtle. Need to buy a Valance to match. Have a very Happy Easter, sorry no eggs. There will be another next year With my fondest love as always Gran. Margaret. XXXXXX

The twins (the new ones, not you two) are tiny and gorgeous! Isla is the oldest, she was 6 pounds and has a dimple in her chin, Freya is the youngest and I think was 5 pounds 6. Ailsa and Robert are doing well too, Ailsa's very tired and a bit sore but all happy!!!!
Sounds like your having an amazing time, those banana pineaple situations are always a bit tricky!
Speak soon x

Well back from a fantastic week ski-ing, I skied with the boys and Steve is definitely a top class skier now! It's ages since I've skied as hard, two black runs, one called 'The Face', very extreme complete with huge moguls on top and hard fast snow further down. I just went very controlled, I certainly didn't want to fall down......managed a whole week of being upright! Evenings were spent lounging in the jacuzzi, sauna or steamroom then some of us had a mad half hour in the pool. Blue skies, sun and great conditions, then back to a freezing cold wind in England.
Just finished a week of mock SATS, kids have done really well, hope this bodes well for May.
I'm debating whether to go to Blythe tomorrow to do an OOD's course. I really need to stay home and get caught up with all the jobs.....boring washing, ironing......
Still haven't dared to check my emails, I know there will be lots to sort for both work and sailing. Last Sunday morning I had a Council Meeting at Derwent, the water is right up to the trees.
Hope you are well and looking after yourself, enjoy the pineapples..... Lots of Love Ann xxx
