Hello!

Today is my last day in Sydney, I am very sad to leave it as this place is wonderful! So just to update you on what i have been up to.....

Friday Dawn took the day off work so we could spend more time together, we spent the morning having a little wonder around the shops then headed over to bondi beach, i was so excited, I had seen so many pics but now i was actually at the famous beach! unfortunately the clouds came over later that afternoon so cut the tanning time down a little. That night we stayed in and watched a dvd to relax.

Saturday we all met up and went to Manly beach for the day, that place is really nice. Had a nice girlies night out on saturday down in darling harbour then when mike finished work the guys joined us to. WE had a nice lazy start to sunday then we walked down to the quay, had a look round the rocks market and then over to the botanic gardens to the famous view point looking over to the opera house and the bridge. I think I have done alot of walking while being here so my legs are getting sore!

Monday I got up nice and early and caught the 2 hr train journey to the blue mountains, AMAZING!!!! such a beautiful place, the tourist part of it was not that brilliant but on the other side i did a lovely bush walk and the views are outstanding. It was so peaceful. I met an american guy called scott who joined me on the walk so we could take photos for each other which was nice. I would definately recommend to anyone to go tehre, is spectacular!!!! and so peaceful.

TOday I met up with Lou and Rach and just went down to bondi for the day. Tonight the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Quenn mary ships are arriving in the harbour and its the only time they have ever been together so going to have a look at that, then I have bought pancake mix to cook for dawn and mike seen as its shrove tuesday! Will be an early night for me though as I have to be at the bus tomorrow morning for 6.30. heading up the coast for my first surf lesson, wahoo!!!

Hope everyone at home is well! Mom hope the stoppong smoking is still going well, very proud of you!
