Hi All,

Happy New Year! well almost for u, n even a little bit longer for me!

So far the trip has all gone smoothly. The flights were long, but fine. My flight from Frankfurt was delayed for almost an hour because someone checked luggage onto the plane & then didnt get on the plane so they had to unload that suitcase which took a while. but when i arrived in Munich, Erich, Nora n Lisa were there waiting for me so i didnt need to worry about that!

Since being here the weather has been less than ideal, but we've had one day that was perfect so we went for a big walk around Isen, which was a trip down memory lane for me. The day I arrived it was dark, gloomy n only -6 so that was a bit of a shock to my system! Yesterday we went ice-skating n i'm still as crap as ever. Then last nit we had dinner with another family here n between us there are 3 adelaide exchange students here at the moment. One came over in 2005-2006, i came in 2006-2007 n there is one staying with my host family now. It makes for quite a fun time.

I've been pleasantly surprised by how well i've managed to keep up with the german conversations but i definitely should have practiced a little more in the last year!

Anyways. I hope you all have a great nit tonight, & that the weather isn't too hot. Enjoy the sun for me & I will speak to you soon.
