Hello all again! Thought I'd write something so can keep you all up-to-date.
Well to be honest we haven't done much apart from work and going out at the weekend.
We went to Sydney Aquarium last week with Emily, Michelle, Vicky, Kirsty and Amy. It was really good. We went on a glass bottom boat ride in the shark tank and got to feed the fish as well! It was only $5 to do that as well - Bargain! We brought the combined ticket to go to the Wildlife Centre as well which is next door to the Aquarium so will be doing that one weekend. We save the indoor things for when it isn't beach weather!
I (Amy) had my works Christmas Do on Friday. We went out for a Greek, the food was ok, everyone said it was gorgeous but it was a bit funky for me! Being how fussy I am! I did try squid though! (Never again) :) I got my secret santa present from work on Friday. We all got them handed out and had to open them there. I wanted to save mine so I had one more to open but they forced me to! It was a photo frame which weighed about 20kg I'm sure! I'll take a picture of it and put it on here :)
It was Sam's birthday this weekend so we all went out. Didn't get in until 5am! Matt stayed in as he had a big night on Friday so he was to tired. On Sunday everyone went to the park at the bottom of the road from us which has a swimming pool there, I was too tired and hung-over so I stayed in bed then went food shopping with Michelle. At the park there is big pond and like a stand in the middle of it, well there was a man stood on the stand totally naked and the Police had to come and roll their trousers up and drag him out and arrested him!
It was absolutely boiling on Saturday, it was unreal. Me and Matt couldn't cope so we stayed in the hostel most the day!
Hopefully it will be hot this weekend so we can get on the beach to do some last minute tanning before Katie and crew arrive :) Will be a week on Sunday! Were so excited. Were both meeting them from the airport, first batch arrives at 6.30am so early start for us! New Years Eve is going to be brilliant!
Matt only has 4 days left at work before he finishes then he isn't back until after Katie, Emma, Claire and Debs go home! Wish I was. I finish on the 24th December then go back to work on the 5th January then from the 19th January I have 8 days off.
