Just a quick blog while we are waiting for our bus to buffalo. Niagara Falls was absolutely amazing to see and the photographs just dont do it justice. I dont know why some people have said it was a lot of money as the maid of the mist was only $15 and it is free to walk all around Niagara which is why we got so many amazing photographs from different angles. I went on my first canoe trip on the 19th July and it was an amazing experience but a lot of hard work. We were in the water by 2.30ish on the 19th and out by 12pm on the 22nd in that time we had set up camp 3 times, canoed a total of 40km as well as a portage which was 3km and some little ones as well. Well Ive been at Camp now for five weeks and the time is flying by. I spend my first two weeks shadowing the Spring OE Staff and then I had a week preping ready for summer to start. I then had a week to relax and help out a little in Res Camp as Summer started with the first campers arriving on the 1st July. Hi All, Well I managed to make it to Canada all by myself. I would recommend Air Transat who I flew with as I had a free main meal and snack later on in the flight and they came down with the trolly three times and you could have any soft drink free and then through the flight they brought water incase anybody was thirsty.I got to catch up on a Big Bang theory that I had never seen before which is unusual in itself and watch the new Sherlock Holmes film. All packing has now been completed and my rucksack is actually still under weight, though i dont know how with the amount that keeps being put into it!
