Koh Phangan: Journey to Koh Phangan was surprisingly smooth, we got a 1 and a half hour ferry where we met Jamie Wardle and Tom Francis on board and so spent the journey swapping stories from our trips and laughing at Steph's stupid comments about Thai peoples feet. amy's gay.Nat personally welcomed us to the island by shouting "Welcome to Koh Phangan b****es!" much to the other passengers bemusement. Koh Tao: So the journey to Tao was interesting to say the least. Steph livened all of our spirits by throwing up into her cup, delicious, and trying to explain her situation to the bus driver so he would pull over but to no avail. Things got less funny however when the road got bumpy and her cup was tipping precariously in the direction of Robyn and Amy. The danger subsided when we were dropped at what appeared to be an evacuation camp and left there for 2 hours...

Koh Phi Phi: After our all-nighter, as is becoming tradition with us before long journeys, we were sad to wave goodbye to Laos. The journey to the airport was spent fantasizing about McDonalds which Nat promised us would be there. It was not. Much to our delight, the golden arches were replaced with neon coffee cup signs and a tepid Thai buffet. Helen even indulged in buying pudding, neon green and orange cupcakes - they appeared to follow suit with the interior...

Laos!Laos was insane. We lived in 2 delightful riverside bungalows providing a base for us in between our copious amounts of alcohol consumption. A cocktail breakfast is a slippery slope as Nat and I discovered. We are now avid drinkers of "Beer Laos" after refining our Beer Pong skills to tournament standard. Free whisky shots all day coupled with a fast flowing river, inflatable equipment, trapeze swings and beer funnels made for a interesting outcome...
