Laos!
Laos was insane. We lived in 2 delightful riverside bungalows providing a base for us in between our copious amounts of alcohol consumption. A cocktail breakfast is a slippery slope as Nat and I discovered. We are now avid drinkers of "Beer Laos" after refining our Beer Pong skills to tournament standard. Free whisky shots all day coupled with a fast flowing river, inflatable equipment, trapeze swings and beer funnels made for a interesting outcome. We met too many people in laos to mention - but all were impressed with our drinking abilities. Truelad.com.
Mud wresting was a particular highlight - the river couldnt even clean us after this. Anf of course neither could the shower - another cracker.
For all those who thought our gap year was a doss, we are proud to announce we did partake in some form of employment. While some may like to refer to us as 'club sluts' - we prefer the more accurate term of 'promoters' for the main bar in Vang Vieng. Our reason for bagging this high-profile job was due to the boss - with an uncanny resemblence to Ron Burgandy - took a liking to our enthusiastic approach to drinking and riverside entertainment.
We ran into the boys on our last night at our work place, where of course we showed them the ropes. The night ended early for Joe (in true Revs style) who was carried home by Tom; yet the night was young for the rest of us - another all nighter. A great end to a contender for the best 4 days of our lives.
