Kho Phangan, home of the full moon party. Sorry dad, I had to go! I was very cautious with my drink, did not drink much or take much and hid enough money in a secret spot to taxi back. And by taxi I am referring to the pick up trucks they load people into the back of and rip them to their hotel. One night I took the taxi scooter lol

I like this island; I've done the most shopping here so far. I have to be careful though, my pack is getting heavy! We rented scooters which are around 7$ a day and 3$ on gas every two days. Yesterday Dustin, Scott and I explored the north of the island where there is the Chinese Temple. It was a nice drive and took around 40 minutes max each way not including the stops. One stop was at a lake and restaurant that had some wipeout type obstacles on the water which were entertaining to watch! They have a board with the 20 fastest times, I didn't try it but did note there were a lot of Canadians on there, especially the girls side :)

I found a place online that is vegetarian and has gluten free bread...but when I found it I also found a sign that they are closed until mid November. I was so close!! Lol

The guys decided to be brave and get a bag of larva, crickets and grasshoppers to eat....but after one each we tried to feed them to the dogs...even they wouldn't eat them!! I was entertaining the idea of trying a leg of the grasshopper, but couldn't do it. No way lol

Last night was the big party. There was a lot of neon clothes and neon body paint. I got flowers on my arm  The beach became a massive dance floor with different music as you walked along. Looking in either direction was just a sea of people. We didn't get there until around 1130, but I was shocked to see when I got back to the hotel it was 6am. I was the first one back! Lol

Tonight will be a quiet one; we are taking the 7am ferry tomorrow to Phuket where we spend one night then fly out to Indonesia 

I'm going to miss Mary's springrolls!! I've had four orders in 24 hours lol Mary and Tom run Sunsea where we are right now with their two daughters. They keep the hotel, cook, do the laundry and are also our taxi  These two have been the sweetest so far, friendly and smiley. Some people I find very indifferent, so I'm glad we got Tom and Mary 
