Bangkok was quite the experience and three days was enough for me even though I don't feel like I saw enough.
From Bangkok we took a flight to Krabi then a ferry to Khao Phi Phi. The island isn't very big; you can walk from the beach on one side to the other in 10 or 15 minutes. It is rainy season so it's been raining off and on but it's not cold.
Our room is a bamboo hut with the cold water only shower and washroom with a roof but a large gap above the wall leaving it open to mosquitos! I have so many bites; thank goodness they aren't itchy. You never really feel clean here; it's either sweat, sunblock or repellent and sometimes a mixture of all of them!
We've done a lot of lounging and a lot of eating...so much for the weight melting off in Asia! Lol. The food has been good but my stomach has not been happy so I'm sure even though I have the restaurant cards printed out in Thai, the translation is being lost somewhere along the way.
We are here for another couple nights then off to the next island.
