Hi everyone!

Sorry I have not been blogging, the computer does not seem to like publishing my blogs so I was writing these huge entries and then as I hit send they were erasing! So I gave up for a while and was just using email, but I thought I would try one final time before I leave Naples.

So, I am just coming to the end of 4 nights in Naples. The first day Tamara and I trekked out to Pompeii and Herculaneum. They were so so amazing! Pompeii is huge! We spent all day exploring the ruins. Herculaneum is the same as Pompeii but it is smaller and better preserved. Some of the buildings still had their roofs and the frescoes were still intact and beautiful!

The next day we went to the Amalfi Coast. The drive along the coast was stunning! I took a lot of dodgy photos out of the bus window! The road was so windy and narrow - a lot of close calls with cars coming the other direction!

Our third night was very eventful! We were woken in the middle of the night and evacuated because they had found a bomb from WW2. We were taken to another hotel for the night, leaving behind all our bags. Luckily they got rid of the bomb that night and we were able to return to our hostel in the morning! We were pretty tired after such excitement so we spent the morning lazing around the hostel and then wandered into Naples after lunch to see the Archaeological Museum.

Today we are jumping on a train back to Rome and checking out the Vatican tomorrow!
