Hello Hello Hello!

Happy Christmas everyone!! Hope you all had a really great day at home eating lovely christmas dinners etc.... We spent christmas in Sydeny as you know, so here is my update from a festive season over here.

Our first night here we made friends with Kim & Heidi our room mates andwe went our for a few drinks. The next day me, sarah & Kim went for breakfast in the lovely cafe downstairs and then joined some others from our hostel for a walk along the beach. We walked from Cooge Beach to Bondai beach, a walk that took a few hours along the cliffs, stopping for swimming etc.. it was a really lovely day and we all met lots of people!! After we headed to the bar (SIDE BAR) For drinks and we had dinner with some people from the beach walk. After a failed pub crawl attempt me and sarah and Kim had a night chatting in Side Bar, it was a good night with lots of laughs!! Next day we all went for breakfast in the SIDE BAR cafe, as usual bumping in to lots of the hostel crew and having a good laugh about previous nights out. If you havent noticed a bit of a recurring pattern already it seems we have got stuck in something of a ''SIDE BAR BUBBLE'' as we fondly call it. We have a little crew and we all pretty much never leave the safety of side bar and wake up!! But we are having such a good time so we dont need to leave!! And meeting so many people that none opf us have to go anywhere else to make friends!! Haha. We will keep telling ourselfes that!!

After a few days bombing around doing our thing in Sydney it was Kims last night =[ also the SIDE BAR christmas party. So we got all dresses up in as many christmas accessories as we could find and headed for a night out in SIDE BAR!! We had such a good time, dancing to christmas songs and eating chicked kebabs!! All good fun.

We met up with Liz from Kielder the next day and headed off for a day on coogee beach, it was a fab day, topping up the tans and what not and being introduced by Liz to a rather wonderful ice cream shop!! Me and sarah also cooked tea tonight, it was somewhat....intersting, and very mushroomy, but we are trying!!

Argh im running out of minutes!! Anyway, I will skip to christmas!! we went to Bondai for christmas dinner (Cold salad!! Not impressed!!) and then all went to coogee beach to drink all our alcohol which was forbidden on Bondai!! We all got rather cheery and went in the sea!! My first ozzie sea experience!! it was wonderful although I got rather damaged by the waves!! Later headed back to Bondai at night and then managed to make our way back to wake up at some lovely hour of the morning!!
