MTR (Mass Transit Railway) The very best way to get around is to use the MTR, it is fast, clean, cheap and safe. We found that by booking a hotel close to an MTR stop we did not spend lots of time getting anywhere. Ok, I know it is very touristy but you have to go up the Peak on the Peak Tram. The views are fantastic as long as there is not any smog. Our tip is to get their first thing in the morning 9.00 am before all the coach parties arrive, otherwise you will sit in a long long line and watch all the pre-booked tours walk past you.
