Hi Lucy
Happy New Year! I've just returned from my holiday in New Zealand. Had a really good time. I've finally seen some photos from when you were in Australia - Pauline sent them to me in a Christmas card. Hope your Dad reads this and feels guilty - I'm still waiting for him to show the photos to me! LOL. Enjoy yourself and keep safe. Luv Pauline xxx

Hi Lucy!
Happy new year! I'm typing this cos Will can't type! Your dad sent me the link and it's amazing to read about your adventures! Will says no one is feeding him chocolate now and did you take your clarinet with you - he's looking forward to this year's band tour to Germany and says shame you can't come! Though he'd love Africa - and would be in immediate search of a djembe to drum on!
Enjoy yourself during this fantastic experience! It's back to school tomorrow - boo!!!

Hi Lucy,
I have asked your Dad a few times down at the Sailing club how you are getting on and he said he would send me your blog link. Well I finally got it today and enjoyed reading about your exploits. So here you are ....a reply!
You will look back with fondness on this time in the years to come so enjoy the experience . I had my biggest success sailing a few weeks ago when I raced in the Harold Evans Trophy. I had been crewing for Paul Gimson ( Arthur was potholing!) and then Paul suggested I helm his Albacore and he would crew for me as I would have a decent Handicap. Anyway we came second ( by 3 seconds) to your Grandad so I think he derserved his win!
I have offerd to crew for your Dad but he seems to have taken to " Solo" sailing so he is looking for a boat. Weather here is atrocious today so indoor jobs beckon. Take care

Hey Lucy :) I'm so glad you are having such an amazing time over there.
I too remember the feeling of thinking the world back home would not accept me when I returned. The truth is tho...it's called "home" for a reason. It don't matter where we go, for how long or what we do when were gone. It always pulls us back there eventually :)
Enjoy the rest of your time Lucy and continue to make a difference in those kids lives. God bless
