hello everyone! just wanted to let you all know, i have arrived safely in ocotal.

after a veryyyyy long day in managua yesterday waiting for wilmer to finally get in, and having a bit of an adventure with dino, diana, joder, and the crew, we were on the road - sitting in the back of a truck, wind at our backs, for the three hours to ocotal.

it was a good ride, with some folks hitchin one with us, and i´m safe and sound and happy with a full belly at the moment. just so you know the time difference, it´s 348pm here... i think that´s 2 hours different than us in indiana?

connections in guatemala city went fine and everything seems to be in tact on my end as well as with our equip.

apparently i´m going to be giving some horseback riding lessons here in a week or two when we have our two intense weeks of filming... but for now its hanging out in ocotal and the surrounding area, heading to managua for the 30th anniversary of the revolution, etc.

monika and i got a special welcome on the local tv channel this afternoon too, and our film will be shown on there in its completion and in parts, i believe. : )
