Hi From Hong Kong We are staying in a great hotel in Kowloon, on 18th floor, with amazing view of the HK skyline! Sat in a bar at the moment in the Ocean Cruise Terminal waiting for the famous light show to start after a long day trekking around Lantau Island, visiting the huge sitting Buddha. Yesterday we went wandering around Wan Chai, Central and Causeway, this place is a shoppers paradise (if you like that kind of thing) have seen at least 20 Chanel shops! ...

Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon War Museum We are quite behind with the blog now so apologies, been having too good a time in HK (news to follow) Our 3rd day in the city and our 2nd Trip in Vietnam was to the Cao Dai Temples, a place of pilgrimage for a lot of South Vietnamese people. We arrived for their noon time prayer and packed in with a whole load of tourists, we watched hundreds of followers sit on the floor dressed in colourful robes and chant their prayer...

General Vietnam Firstly, thanks for the messages guys. we love to hear from everyone and actually get quite disappointed when we log on and dont have any ;0( I am actually writing this from Cambodia where we have just arrived until tomorrow when we fly out to Bangkok. Vietnam, home of the hammock. Saigon, home of the motorbike !! Meekong Delta Trip Our trip constisted of many small boat trips through the delta where we jumped on and off the small islands. One island was a bee keeping farm where we got to taste natural honey, another island was where they turned coconuts into sweets and we got to taste and buy (they were fabulous). Another we had a taste of tropical fruits whilst a local family of entertainers sang for us...

We set off on another overnight journey, this time by coach to Vietnam from Siem Reap. the air con above my head had no cover on it so I had an ice cold draft on my neck for the entire 16 journey and James's seat rained. yes rained. (I actually missed the Hogworts Express) We arrived in saigon to be met by a stream of motorbikes and a traffic jam, although we had been pre warnede about the traffic situation here.
