I stayed in Nice for 4 days and then took a train to Montpellier on my way to Barcelona. I will just be staying overnight and taking an early train to Barcelona.

The past few days have been what can best be described as a complete and utter disaster, which seriously made me question just what the hell I thought I was doing, and it nearly made me want to come back home. It began when on my last day in Paris, I decided that I would spend the day shopping, and pick out the fabric that I would use in my quilt. Today was by far my favorite day in Paris. It began by catching the train to Versailles, which became a very lengthy process, as I was unable to find the station, and the teller at the metro was an utterly useless cow. I did however finally get there. My first impression of the palace Versailles was that it was gigantic, and grand on nearly every scale imaginable. Today was a very quiet day. I have found as the week passes on, I get far less adventureous with my endeavors. I took the tube to see Notredame, which was very interesting, but I must say that my loyalty still lies with St. Paul´s Cathedral. Once again, the entry was free, but the place was packed.
