Oh Lucinda, I'm so disappointed I just saw your message - I would have loved to catch up, and the three hours I spent in Heathrow yesterday by myself weren't exactly the most exciting - though they did give me time to do some study i.e. reading one of my novels for a lit class!

An American hot dog is a long, red sausage in a roll, with ketchup and yellow mustard in squiggly lines across it. A NZ hotdog, which you get from fish 'n' chip shops, is a sausage on a stick, fried in batter (really healthy, of course!). And they call that a corn dog in the US.

Kuala Lumpar - airport with the least clear signs for men or women toilets... do I need to elaborate?

Dubai - the airport where you (aka I) get lost for hours, quite good for wasting time...

Accra - the airport that makes Nairobi look like the flashest thing you have ever seen...

Amsterdam - the airport with the most luggage conveyor belts... some idiot stood by the first one before realising that unlike Africa, not all the luggage comes out on one only...

If you got desperate you could add Kerikeri 'airport'...

HI ALICE!! How are you!? Love reading your blog - have just saved the last about ten entries to take away and catch up on your stories as Im sorry havent been near internet for some time now!! Have been petty sick, turned into a definite sloth bedridden for close to 4 weeks... But all well now, well, on the mend anyway!!
