Hey everyone! Nothing much to report on yesterday. I visited the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Zoo which were cool but didn't really compare to seeing the animals at the wildlife santuary where there's no bars. Then had a 5 hour bus journey to stop over for the night in Bundaberg-home of the famous Bundy Rum Distillary, unfortunately I didn't get to tour around it coz I had an early bus today but I stayed at the weirdest accommodation. I couldn't get anything...

Today I'm in Rockhampton, didn't actually plan to come here but you have to remain fairly flexible when travelling. I was on a coach to Bundaberg, a 12 hour trip that was due to arrive at 23.30, however, the bus broke down 3 times and the driver kept getting out to fix it, but the third time the on board computer broke down and we had to wait in a crappy little town called Mackey for 3 hours while they got someone to fix it. There wasn't anyone to let me in...

hey guys, Just got back from my sailing trip and I have to say I loved it. The boat was called siska and was a maxi racing sailing boat. It took 22 of us out on the trip and seemed so small for all those people. hey everyone, I got a greyhound bus to Airlie Beach on Friday and am currently chilling out in this backpackers haven!! Its only a small beachy sort of place but its rammed with bars, cafes, hostels and tacky shops selling crap (my paradise). Jack would love the gift shops, I doubt we'd see him for days. Arrived at Magnetic Island today and its beautiful. Got the greyhound bus to Townsville at 9 this morning which took about 6 hours and then took a ferry over to Magnetic Island. Staying at another Base Backpackers but this one is not exactly like the ones in NZ, I've got a little hut on the beach and its like a holiday resort, its so nice. Not entirely sure what I'm going to do with my 2 days yet but there's lots of snorkelling, jet skiing and diving to be had o...
