hello from Brisbane! i can't say too much about the city at the moment coz I only hopped off the coach about an hour ago and are yet to explore outside of my room but the hostel I'm staying at is ultra-modern and pretty luxury for the money. Pity my room is full of weirdos though! Not sure how long I'm staying in Brisbane yet, I'm not convinced there's all that much to do here but thats the joy of being my own boss coz I get 100% say in those decisions...

hey guys, Today I left Rainbow Beach to travel a few hours down to Noosa. Arrived here at lunch time and am staying at a really chilled out hostel. The place is a beach town and primarily a surfers town but has hundreds of holiday accommodation places and looks quite touristy but in a good way. hello from a very tired camper! I've spent the last 3 days on a Fraser Island self-drive, camping out on the beaches and generally having a laugh. Hey everyone! Nothing much to report on yesterday. I visited the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Zoo which were cool but didn't really compare to seeing the animals at the wildlife santuary where there's no bars. Then had a 5 hour bus journey to stop over for the night in Bundaberg-home of the famous Bundy Rum Distillary, unfortunately I didn't get to tour around it coz I had an early bus today but I stayed at the weirdest accommodation. Today I'm in Rockhampton, didn't actually plan to come here but you have to remain fairly flexible when travelling. I was on a coach to Bundaberg, a 12 hour trip that was due to arrive at 23.30, however, the bus broke down 3 times and the driver kept getting out to fix it, but the third time the on board computer broke down and we had to wait in a crappy little town called Mackey for 3 hours while they got someone to fix it. There wasn't anyone to let me in...
