hello, I left Byron yesterday and made the long drive to Port Macquarie, half way beteen Byron and Sydney. I only stopped here to break up the journey but its actually really pretty. This is just a tiny village but has become really popular with tourists ever since backpackers started turning up in the 1970's and a student festival (aquarius) was held here promoting alternative lifestyles and eco-living. Day 2 in Brisbane and its been quite a busy one.
