It was the boys' (James and Aron) last day on the cook islands today which was quite sad coz we've got on so well and spent all our time together, but they leave for a trek America tour starting in LA. Spent the whole day relaxing and nursing our sunburn. We all had suncream on yesterday but being on the bikes in the wind you feel really cool and it doesnt occur to you that your skin is frying. The burn on my leg caused by the exhaust has become a giant blister and I've been scaring everyone with it-its quite nasty but at least it doesnt hurt anymore. Managed to read lots of my book today and catch up with my journal which has been somewhat neglected since we arrived here. In the evening me and Miranda walked down to the hotel resort and had our last supper by the beach with music and cocktails which was a great way to end this week. Definately ready to move on now the boys have gone but also a bit sad to leave because I have loved this island.
