Nice by day is much nicer. We walked up a hill by the old town to Parc de la Colline du Château, the site of an old ruined castle, which overlooks Nice town on one side and the harbour on the other. In the middle is a stunning view of the sea. Got some great photos there, and a good one of both of us standing by the waterfall there.

After this we walked down the other side of the hill to Place Garibaldi, a big town square with trees and cafés, and had a drink. The waiter managed to trip over something and smash 2 coke bottles near our feet. We went to have a look at the harbour, but there's not a lot happening there for tourists, just more cafés. There's an area round there called Quatière Antiquaires, where every shop is an antique dealers, but Anna didn't fancy that.

Going for a swim in the sea later, but having a rest in the guesthouse for a bit now.
