Today i have awoke in a small town next to Mt.Fuji called Kawaguchiko which was the last train station to the mountain. I stayed the night in a peaceful hostel where only a few backpackers joinned us. The hostel is a little more traditional compaired to the others ive stayed in Tokyo a little more expensive but worth it, the only problem is its lack of showers and the add of a communal bath. Unfortunatly we still can`t see the mountain as it is just too damn foggy, we trekked out yesterday and still failed to see it but we did find the lake that looked very impressive and beautiful with the neighbouring villages lights shimmering off the lake. Hunger struck and we returned to the hostel for food but unfortunatly they closed the kitchen early, but the owner was still helpful to point out another resturant. we ended up trying out a indian we passed on the route back to the hostel and it was good stuff and a very nice nan! we headed back and sleep took hold.
The last 2 nights had been alot of fun meeting up with our friends from the annex and endulging in a few drinks playing games and swapping stories none of which i can feed back to you due to ruining your sensitive minds.?but it was alot of fun and alot of our last nights there so we had to make it a good time.
