6th August This morning was great as still recovering from jet lag allowed me to awake perfectly frustrated at 4.55am. FANTASTIC! Anyway after waiting for about a half hour for sleepy head (Trudy) to return from her mini state of hibernation, we had breakfast and then decided to go for a walk. This morning we arrived in Heathrow half an hour early at 6:50 am. After the 12hr flight we were quite unenergised. The plane we took for some reason had no TV's, which sucked, but we slept most of the time anyway. We took a train direct to Paddington Station and then took a train to Kings Cross. We had to go to St Pancras national, which is right next to Kings Cross to get a train on the Corby line to Wellingborough. That took a nice 55min through rolling count...

Hi its Alex, So the first day of our trip to Europe...both Trudy and I are excited, cant wait to get on the plane. We're at the Brisbane airport right now, been through customs and all that, just waiting for the gate to open....at 1.20pm. We are probably a bit early, but better than being late i guess.
