Hi its Alex,

So the first day of our trip to Europe...both Trudy and I are excited, cant wait to get on the plane.
We're at the Brisbane airport right now, been through customs and all that, just waiting for the gate to open....at 1.20pm.
We are probably a bit early, but better than being late i guess.

This morning we woke up at 3.55am, all still tired and sleepy, but excited.
Trudy, Julia (trudy's mum) and I had to drive up here from Guyra.
Pretty long drive, 6 hours it took, but i guess it's pretty short compared to the 9hr, and 13hr flights we are soon to be on.

We should be in London by 7.15am tomorow morning London time, which is about 4pm normal time, finally arriving after a full day and a half of travelling...
