This is a gorge like you see in the movies. We stopped/drove to the edge where someone has built an amphitheatre and a winery. I don't know who would be paying attention to any bands when there is that view to go on!!!
We left Lyn's grandparents' house an hour ago after the most food and loveliest house in America. (- dog allergies) The gorgeous breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, yoghurt, peaches and puffy pancakes topped with frozen raspberries, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. I also floated a donut hole in my coffee as suggested by grandpa Leitz. We Godzilla last night... As Lyn puts it retrospectively "Oh gosh..." I personally enjoyed the French-Amrican banter.
We moseyed back to Leavenworth centre which is a German town in the hills of Washington. We went in:
A hat shop, where puns were made based on attire.
A jam shop where Lynette convinced me I should burn off all my taste buds with the tiniest pretzel touch of hot sauce, and almond/raspberry honey.
A wood shop, we recessed to childhood.
And we got:
Beer and 241 sangria, though we dunno why, yummy though. And very thought inspiring in the mountain sun.
More number plates.
A free icepack in the chocolate cherries shop (without buying cherries, just my English charm).
