Day Viente-Uno
#myspanishisonpoint
We got up at 6.30 to head up into the mountains to a condor viewing point; condors are HUGE black birds that can have up to 3m wingspan. Several flew past and over our heads, unfortunately my camera isn't good enough to get real close up shots, but I got a few good far away ones. Then we had a small hike along the edge of the canyon, past a mountain that became famous when a girl pushed her boyfriend off it, and several different Cacti. I got really badly sunburnt, but overall the hike wasn't too bad, it made me a lot more confident about my ability to survive the Lares Trek (although that goes up to 4800mts, so I'm still slightly worried about how I'm gonna cope with that)
In the afternoon we went to visit some hotsprings, which were heated by a volcano
