Well, it's hardly surprising that I have hit my first hiccup for my NZ travels - by miss reading the flight dates and times. However let's face it ... it could be a million times worse... at least I booked it the day after not before! Just imagine! Ach well it wouldn't be me if something along these lines didn't happen. Plane journey - fairly uneventful much to my disappointment. Food was AWESOME, eating like a king! One thing that strikes me is how many face cloths they insists on handing out - its almost like waitressing (when you have nothing to do water and wine your table) they hand out hot flannels. I suppose it prevents people from smelling! And to my delight they have recognised my tea addiction and return every 30minutes or so to top me up with a brew and have learnt ...

Glasgow airport - new experience ! well all this build up and it has begun ! No delays (yet) no luggage issues despite clearly being over the limit and sauntering around with my ski boots dangling off my overfilled rucksack. Only issue or change the plan being that what I thought was a two hour stop in Dubai is actually a 24hour stop! O well - SHOPPING !!! Not long till I leave the UK now !
