We are off to Darwin again in search of our new air poles. We try a new tactic this morning and pack the car then stop in the camp kitchen for a late breakfast. This allows us to pack up before it gets too hot. I'm not sure the kids like this idea though as towards the end they are quite grizzly. Mark makes us a yummy breakfast of bacon and egg wraps which puts a smile on their faces.
We drive to Darwin and have lunch at Eva's cafe in the botanic gardens. This is visit number 4. The food is great as is the coffee. William is super excited to take Mark on the rainforest walk we did on our first visit. He shows him all the trees and when we get to the waterfall it is running (unlike our first visit).
We hang out at BCF waiting for the courier to deliver our poles but they do not arrive. Despite picking them up from the airport at 7:24 am they still haven't arrived at their destination by 5 pm. We are not happy campers. Despite this hiccup the customer service we have received has been faultless. So we spend another night in Darwin!
We will have to return to BCF in the morning to hopefully pick up our poles and then head to Kakadu.
