Had a great day today, travelled on 3 modes of transport! The day began with a bus ride to Bratslavia, which is the capital of Solvakia. We had a walking tour of approximately 1.5 hours which was a great way to see this charming city, so much history. We had some free time which gave us time to eat in a local restaurant, we had coffees and local pannetone cakes! We then hopped on a local train back to Vienna, Scenic Cruises had organised some light snacks sampling Slovakian pastries and Slovakin coca cola, which was unusual to say the least.

Once we reached Vienna we stayed in the city to try and catch local sites, what an amazing place' so much to see, Jen and Col wandered around the city taking in St Stephens church David and I opted for a carriage ride around the city which was enchanting, our driver acted as tourist guide and we had a wonderful trip around the city, then we came back to the boat for cocktails!

We have a special dinner tonight to celebrate Cols birthday, we had a 6 course meal with all the trimmings, including wine with each meal, the Crew were fantastic and evan made a cake for the birthday boy, and sang Happy Birthday, great end to an even greater day! The boat sails tonight for Durnstein.
