The yacht club ..... We spent 2 nights in the treehouse and I'm sorry to move really, but the yacht club is open now and we met them yesterday and sorted out camping. So we have arrived and setup camp right next to the lake, perfect spot with boats moored nearby. The weather is so hot, we had some clouds bubble up and rumble with thunder but it seems to have passed us by. Theo's tummy is still not right and I wish I could have it instead of him.... I hope he will get better soon he's too skinny as it is! Gabriel is playing with the lizards.. Trying to train them and I think hoping to have one as a pet! There are yellow billed kites flying all around and ibis crying loudly nearby. The lake looks so inviting but I know there are crocs in there and a disease called bilharzia, the snails carry this parasite that gets in to your body and then copulate there making babies !!!! Until you feel so bad you realise and get medicine as at least it is treatable. Now the boys have found some polystyrene and are making boats to float on the lake. God I love no electronics for them that is.. I say guiltily as I'm on my iPad!! A lovely night sleep back in the tent, it's too breezy for mossies thankfully and as I fall asleep all I can hear the waves lapping on the edge of the lake. I wake up thinking I am on a boat.... I gave Theo the same tablet (ciprofloroxine) as I took for my tummy after finding out about the dosage for kids and thankfully he didn't need the loo all night and this morning he seems so much better. Ben has got under the car this morning and fiddled with things and I'm hunting the car for a lost knife! At least there is some order in there at last, travelling with all of us and so much stuff everything always gets mislaid. Sitting out watching the lake and the world go by... A couple from Belgium have turned up with their Toyota camping too with a roof tent and seem very nice, we're going to have dinner at the restaurant at the yacht club with them later. The boys have been busy building and designing boats all day, all you need is polystyrene, sticks and plastic bags for sails and they haven't stopped all day. Went to have a look at the hotel pool nearby, but many bugs and a fortune to go in so decided not too.
