I went to Lisbon today. I didnt do anything exciting but walked around. I picked up some postcards so now I just have to not be lazy and actually write/send them. I know I'm horrible about it! Step 1 is done though! I bought them.

I downloaded some pictures so you can take a gander at them. I just walked around the main parts of town today didn't do a lot of exploring. I don't have to be at work until Wed. (thank you Portugese holidays) so I didn't want to have all the fun in one day! I'll probably go back on Tuesday.

Tomorrow I am doing some more house hunting and then Tom is taking me to a place north of us called Centro I think. It's supposed to be a pretty beach area. I have pictures of a lower section of it from yesterday. I am looking at a house that will be walking distance to it. Yeah.

I'm very much done with the house hunting. I've looked at 9 places so far and have 4 more tomorrow. They all kind of blur together after a while. There are 2 that I really like so far. Both 3 Br/2.5 bath with a backyard and patio area. One even has a second patio upstairs. Its a condo. has a community pool I would share with 2 other condos, but my own fenced in yard,fireplace, 2 car garage and is in a very quiet area with lots of trees around. The other is a house, no pool but walking distance to the beach, its a long walk but still walking distance, and 2 living rooms both with fireplaces. The second one is downstairs and as big as upstairs. I have no idea what I would do with it. PAR-TAY room! It also has a garage and on the patio has a built in grill. They are pretty common here and I love it!

Since its just me I'm sure you're wondering why in the world I am looking at 3 bedroom places. Basically my job will pay for my rent up to a certain amount. With what they are giving me I can afford it. It would end up being 2 bedrooms and a study is what they call it. Plus, its apparently hard to find houses with less than 3 bedrooms. I'm being stubborn and saying I dont want to live in an apartment.
