Hello!
Farewell Dover and the UK. It has been amazing, hot and lashing with rain! A place that is great and we shall come back and we have no history back hm o compared with here!
So an early start as we had to fill the car up with diesel and drop it off to catch the bus by 915. All went well although the bus was a little late due to the Olympics and leaving from London. We went on the bus which boarded a train ( very narrow) which travelled up to 160k and took about 35mins when moving to cross the channel. I'm so glad I'm not driving over here as they drive on the opposite to us so everything is quiet confusing ESP roundabouts! Oh and we lost an hr as the time zone changed.
Once we arrived at Brugge we caught a taxi to our hotel which is 2 blocks away from 'Markt' a big area with food, churches and statues oh and horses. Once we checked in and were ready to eat we tackled town for lunch and dinner as it was 1600. Jacinta almost got run over by a horse and carriage as they do not stop they keep going I was yelling out but with all the street buskers she couldn't hear me, it did come very close and she did move at the last second! Dinner was Pizza and it is so confusing looking at words that don't make sense. Even the shops advertising as not much is in english this shall be interesting! After dinner we had a walk around and found a chocolate place omg the smell let alone the taste is devine. We then headed back as we were nackered so we are watching the Olympics without volume as there is no English but it's good to hear the crowd now and then. That's a really good thing about sport and the Olympics you can watch and understand it. I have also scanned the radio and have only found 1 English speaking music station which I was surprised at considering English is quiet popular here.
Weather code still 03 fine and mild not as hot as southern England. Bring on the waffles tomorrow I say!
