Hello all and good morning. I have taken a trip back "home" to visit my Dad, the nephews, my brother, and so on. I have not been back to Arkansas in a while and this is the first trip I have had since January where I got to stay more than just one night so it is a nice 5 day visit home. I instantly noticed how nice it smells outside here. The scent of the Chicago River has long retreated and my nostrils no longer burn. The move out to Elgin was a fairly painless one. Jaclyn and I battled over feminism VS. Masculinty when it came to bed room but we eventually comprimised with us having a ridiculously fancy bed, but I have man stuff on the top of at least one dresser. I won over at least 80% use of the cloest too, but I would not have gotten that without the help of her mother rallying in my support. 80% of the closet and 25% of the room is a huge vistory for mankind. The rest of the house is all hers though. Her brother rules the garage so all is well and right with the household.
Anyway, my trip home is good so far. I have seen lots of baby deer and big bucks in Dad's yard. The fawns still have all their spots. I am preparing to go Mountain Biking with my brother Jeremy today over around pigeon creek, and building some fence with my main man Mason Campbell this coming Friday. When me and Mason work on projects together it is usually nothing short of magical magic that happens. Anyone remember the award winning Awesome Man Show? Mason and I have talked of more epic ventures to launch if I ever get back close to home. However this week is about visiting and goofing off building some fence and mountain biking.
I really wish Jaclyn could have came with me. The commute she has and moving is all a lot of stress to deal with. I miss her already and wish she could have been a part of this trip.
Tis time for me to venture outside!
